Just how do the spirits know they are to cure? I mean does someone tell them or is it spiritual? Thanks had a good time.

Hello Mr. Beauvoir, why do not speak of African and American Indians mixtes, you must of have come to realize that we share many common points ; how has one culture influenced or integrated the other. Thank you.

In America, this is the African based religion that has not been tampered with by Arabic influences. It gives reference to the healing powers of earth remedies that our ancestors used many eons ago. This is some awesome. At times, words can not describe the way the heart feels. It is like a long, long journey back to what is real. I am grateful to write because I know the essence of believing and faith. I thank Max Beauvior and all those that supports his endeavors; the ancestors and the loas; and, when my mind is quiet, I am observing the mighty powerful works of Bon Dieu.

Papa Max,

Congratulations on a beautiful site that is both aesthetically pleasing as well as enlightening. I hope that you continue to add new articles from time to time, as I would be very keen to keep reading what you write.

There are too many of us, all over the Diaspora, who drink, unknowingly, from a polluted well, and who look at the clear waters from the ancestral springs, and think that those are the waters which are polluted. Your work helps to dispel this ignorance.

Best wishes and all success to the Temple Yehwe! May the loas, orisha, abosom, and neteru continue to bless your endeavors, and help you to teach our people.
In the Spirit, Grisso

Thank you for the opportunity to learn about vodun. Until now, I was only aware of the misconceptions about this belief.

EVERY SO OFTEN WHEN I VISIT THE SITE, I CAN'T HELP THINKING WHAT A GREAT SOURCE INFORMATION IT IS FOR ALL OF US. YOU TELL US (AND I KNOW NOW) THAT VODUN IS THE POPULAR SYSTEM OF BELIEF AND THE RELIGIOUS PRACTICE OF THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF THE POPULATION OF HAITI BUT WHEN I WAS GROWING UP IN HAITI THERE WAS NEVER ANY MENTION OF IT IN SCHOOL OR AT HOME EVEN THOUGH GREEK AND ROMAN MYTHOLOGY WAS VERY ENFORCED IN OUR STUDIES. THANKS TO YOU AND THE TEMPLE OF YEHWE WE CAN NOW AT ANY AGE LEARN AND UNDERSTAND HOW VODOU "EMBRACES ALL THE MANY ASPECTS OF LIFE".

KEEP UP THIS WONDERFUL WORK - WE NEED IT.

ALWAYS,

SESHUKE

Thank you so much for this informative site. It has added so much to my understanding of the true nature of the Vodun religion as well as the African people. On a recent visit to New Orleans I came into contact with information concerning both of the above areas. Not all good or correct! Keep up the good work.
