I grew up in the Church; (as most African-Americans have) and I consider myself a very spiritual person. I have witnessed God�s works in my life, and I feel his presence in everything I do.I love the Lord.�
Yet, I feel something is missing in my life; what I mean is, organized Religion as I have experienced it has been unfulfilling for me. Be it Baptist, Holiness, Pentecostal;etc. I�ve tried quite a few faiths, I do not fit in.�
I do feel a very strong pull/desire (I don�t really know what to call it) for African-based religions.�
My problem/question is how and where do I get started? Who can I talk to? I live in the DC area.�
